Boston Celtics Meets Oden

Boston Celtics hopes to move up the teams that catches the interest of Greg Oden, formerly the No. 1 overall pick after they met on Saturday.

Supposedly, Oden was to change the franchise of Portland Trail Blazers but he had fracture surgeries on his knees and needed to take the season off to recover fully as he tries another comeback.

Oden has participated in 82 games since he entered the NBA last 2007. He hasn't totally recuperated with his surgery since missing the whole rookie season. His last game was on Dec. 5, 2009 with Portland, which sustained him another severe knee injury causing him to miss 2 seasons.

Kidd Gilchrist Suffers From Concussion

Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, the forward of Bobcats, was hospitalized tonight when the player got hit in his head while playing against the Rockets.

Alert and able to move, Kidd-Gilchrist underwent a CT scan and X-rays as precautionary measures, and fortunately, cleared of neck and head injuries. However, the Bobcats forward does develop a concussion and need to stay in Houston’s Memorial Hermann Hospital overnight for further observation.

The injury happened at the 4th quarter when he collided with Jeffery Taylor, his team mate.
