Elton Brand Says Mavs Should Expect More From Him

Elton Brand has encountered struggles this season.  However, he thinks his 17 points, 12 rebounds and 4 blocks in their win against the Pistons this Saturday shouldn't be a surprise at all. Brand even expects more nights such as this in a Mavs uniform.

“Nah, that’s not vintage,”Not even close. That’s what I can do. That’s where I’m at right now," said Brand who has an average of 6.2 points and 6.0 rebounds entering the game. “

“With the opportunity and the looks, I’m still right there. I can do that every night – most nights – with those opportunities.”

Nando De Colo Assigned to D-League by Spurs

Today, San Antonio Spurs assigned Nando De Colo to the NBA Development League's Austin Toros.

De Colo appeared in thirteen games this season for Spurs with an average of 2.5 points, 1.2 rebounds and 1.4 assists in a  span of 10.4 minutes.

This French player is now in his first season of playing for the Silver and Black. De Colo was chosen by Spurs with the 53rd pick in the 2nd round of the 2009 NBA Draft and spent the previous 3 seasons playing for Spanish ACB League's Valencia.
